MEET THE TEAM
Taryn has been with us since the beginning of Restless Pines, minus a few years of finishing off post secondary education. Along with over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages, years of competing and pony club, she brings passion of the sport into the arena. She has been riding since the age of 5 and genuinely loves sharing her knowledge with her students, giving them a solid foundation to accomplish any goals that are set. She believes that lessons in the barn are ones that can be carried through all aspects of life.

Photographer/ Weekend Stable Hand
Marie began boarding at Restless Pines with her first horse Caliana in 2012, and since then has been a regular at the farm. Marie purchased Walter "When You Wish" in 2015. Walter is a warmblood out of Zofia and Westport, bred and raised here at Restless Pines. Marie enjoys the relaxing, stress free environment here at RP, as well as the added bonus of countless beautiful facilities. She is also our resident photographer, and can be found on the farm or at the shows snapping the most beautiful shots of our horses!
Ashley Keary joined RPF while completing her BSc in Psychology with a minor in Health Studies and a certificate of Animal Behavior. She was a working student at Millar Brooke Farm for three years and is currently focused on coaching and training horses at RPF. She has been a competitive equestrian since the age of 4 years old; most notably she competed at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair five times with multiple placings and qualified for FEI Children's Finals in Hong Kong placing Team Bronze. Ashley has experience working alongside many top professionals in multiple equestrian fields. She enjoys watching her students and horses learn, overcome challenges, and reach new heights of success.
Samantha Sharpe has been a part of the RP family for many many years. We missed her for a few years while tried her hand at having her own farm but we were very happy when she came home to us - I’d told her then she was a lifer. Sam bring so much knowledge and enthusiasm to her students. She is engaging and truly loves to help each rider set and reach their goals. She does this thru a wealth of knowledge she has learned from many disciplines: originally a hunter jumper rider, a move to the western world allowed her to meet so many more great trainers as well as some fun new skills! Same is an intuitive kind instructor who keeps her riders educated with a strong work ethic developing off the horses as well.
